My group and I were given the task of executing a product involving 'lip-sync'. The purpose of this class project was to help us exercise a basic framework in creating a music video. As beginners we chose to work with a very known but a song having a slower pace knowing that we were still experimenting with recording the video as well as syncing it to the music. "Someone like you"- by Adele was agreed on by all of us. Initially we learnt that recording the video according to the lyrics was a very challenging task although it was a slow song. As a part of the mise en scene we showed synthetic rain using only a garden hose. On taking numerous shots of the scene, and utilizing our editing skills we were finally successful in bringing a short master piece to life. We used Adobe premiere to slow down the song's speed enough to accurately match the speed of the video. A challenging task turned into a great learning experience for us.
